EBG Advisors worked across physician leadership and internal legal staff at a multistate health provider to create the framework for appropriate Medical Executive Committee (MEC) governance.
Committee charters, responsibilities, and schedules were drafted in support of activities related to Quality, Population Health, Technology & Process, Peer Review, Credentialing, and Continuing Education.
In collaboration with internal and Epstein Becker Green legal counsel, the structure was designed to meet Corporate Practice of Medicine (CPOM), accreditation, and other legal and regulatory guidelines.
