Holding both a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) and a Juris Doctor (J.D.), Spreeha Choudhury brings a combination of clinical foundation and legal rigor to EBG Advisors. She guides clients through the dense web of federal and state laws governing pharmacy practice, distribution, and life sciences commercialization.

Spreeha's practice centers on comprehensive pharmacy regulatory counseling and commercial arrangements. She routinely advises pharmacy clients on federal and state regulatory frameworks, wholesale distribution and DSCSA compliance, resident and nonresident licensure requirements, state scope-of-practice requirements for pharmacists, interstate dispensing and shipping, compounding requirements, controlled substance regulations, and pharmacy board enforcement matters. Spreeha frequently leads and manages the multistate regulatory filings required for pharmacy changes of ownership (CHOW) and restructuring. As a trusted coordinator, she aligns cross-functional legal, regulatory, and corporate teams, along with local and specialized outside counsel, to ensure seamless transitions.

In health care transactions, Spreeha provides regulatory diligence for buyers evaluating specialty and retail pharmacy targets. Clients rely on her to spot and resolve critical regulatory risks, including federal and state fraud and abuse, pricing and patient steering considerations, patient payment and co-pay collection models, manufacturer copay assistance and coupon programs, and data and privacy rules. She also reviews and negotiates operational agreements between retail, specialty, mail-order, and compounding pharmacies and their key partners, including pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), drug manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors, hub vendors, health systems, group purchasing organizations, and other service vendors.

In addition to her pharmacy-focused practice, Spreeha has extensive experience with the Affordable Care Act's preventive services framework. Known for her collaborative approach, she works across functional groups within pharmaceutical companies, including in-house legal, medical affairs, government affairs, and commercial teams, advising on regulatory strategy and commercialization issues with a focus on vaccines and preventive services. Spreeha also bridges practice areas within affiliate Epstein Becker Green, partnering with colleagues in the firm's Health Care and Life Sciences and Litigation & Business Disputes practices to translate clinical information into legal strategy.

Before entering law, she was a medical copywriter at a pharmaceutical advertising agency, where she developed scientifically grounded educational materials for health care providers and patients across a broad range of therapeutic areas.
