Biography

Maura Farrell is a Strategic Consultant with EBG Advisors, Inc.

Ms. Farrell has more than 15 years of experience as an advisor on public policy, regulatory, and reimbursement matters. In her practice, Ms. Farrell has represented various sectors of the health care industry, including pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, providers, industry trade associations, voluntary health organizations, and a federal government agency.

Ms. Farrell’s experience includes the development and implementation of payer market reimbursement strategies. Her efforts in this regard have focused on coding issues, such as the drafting of coding applications including CPT and HCPCS, as well as the design of coverage and payment initiatives for both novel and mature products. On behalf of clients, Maura has assessed market and industry trends, managed coalitions, served as a federal affairs representative, and developed grassroots strategies. She also worked with a government-supported task force on its reviews of scientific evidence on preventive health care services.

Representative Experience

As a former Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives, Ms. Farrell has substantial experience with the legislative process, policy development and health legislation. Her experience includes working with a member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.

She was formerly associated with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and served as a Senior Advisor in the Health Care and Life Sciences practice at Epstein Becker Green.
